Monthly Bank Draft Policy
Filling out a bank draft form will authorize your bank to automatically draft your monthly membership dues on the 15th of each month. The draft will not stop until you have come in to fill out a cancellation form and turn in your membership cards.

Return Check Policy
The YMCA abides by the standard business practice of assessing a $30 charge to any returned check or bank draft. If your bank draft has been returned 2 consecutive times, and you have not come in to satisfy those amounts your membership will be cancelled immediately.

Code of Conduct
Our code of conduct dictates positive interactions with others, language free of anger or vulgarities, and with the actions at or above a general accepted standard of conduct. The following conduct can lead to suspension or terminiation of membership:
- Inappropriate attire
- Physical contact with another person in an angry or threatening manner
- Any demonstration of sexual activity or sexual conduct with another person
- Harassment or intimidation by words, gestures, body language or any other menacing behavior
- Theft or behavior which results in the destruction of property
- Carrying or concealing any weapons or devices or objects which may be used as weapons
- Using or possessing illegal chemicals or alcohol on YMCA property
- Any other conduct of an inappropriate, threatening or offensive nature
- No camera phones are permitted in the locker room, pool area or the wellness center

Carry your card
Every time you visit the YMCA you must scan your membership card. This is for your safety. Replacement cards are $5.00.

AWAY Program Policy
When traveling out of town, most YMCAs will honor your membership. This is called "AWAY" (Always Welcome at Any YMCA) privilege.
Each YMCA's policy may vary. Please check with the local YMCA regarding their policy. The East Liverpool Area YMCA;s policy is as follows. We will allow an AWAY member into our facility 3 times a month with a valid photo ID and their membership card.

Financial Assistance
It's the goal of the YMCA that no person shall be denied YMCA participation due to the inability to pay fees.

Swimming Lesson Observation Policy
Having as few distractions as possible during lessons are important. Please observe classes only from pool viewing area. Chairs are provided along the wall.

Hot Tub
No one under age 6 is permitted. Ages 6-16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Flotation Devices in Swimming Pool
The YMCA does not provide flotation devices. YMCA flotation devices are used for instructional purposes only. Children with flotation devices (noodles, swimmies, etc.) MUST be accompanied by an adult in the pool and are NOT permitted in the deep area.
