Everyone belongs at the Ohio Valley YMCA regardless of their age, background or income. In an effort to ensure that anyone everyone is eligible to obtain a membership, participate in programs or attend classes, the Ohio Valley YMCA grants financial assistance to individuals based on their demonstrated ability to pay.
In order for applications to be reviewed, applicants must provide the most current copy of their 1040 tax form and verification of all forms of household income. If the required documentation is not provided, the application is unable to be processed. Financial Assistance is based on a sliding scale and depends on income level, current number of household members, as well as other factors.
Financial Assistance Applications are available at the Member Service Desk at each Ohio Valley YMCA facility. Once the application is completed, attach all necessary documentation and return to the Member Service Desk. Applicants will receive a letter of approval or denial within three weeks.
